From the moment you walk through the door of our traditional 16th century Coaching Inn you'll feel right at home. Our aim is to keep things simple and offer you the opportunity to relax and let us take the strain.
Whether you stay in one of our Traditional Inn Rooms in the main hotel, or in one of the Contemporary New Rooms in the converted stables, you’ll find that every room has its own theme with curtains, plump cushions, carefully chosen furniture all going towards making your stay comfortable & memorable. You may decide to spoil yourself with a stay in one of our suites - each of them has a separate sitting room or area and one has a double wet room and a TV you can watch from the bath!
Our stunning yet relaxed restaurant with its stone flagged floors and roaring fire in the winter is known for its fantastic food using only the freshest local ingredients. There are big comfortable sofas to sink into whilst you choose your dinner, a proper bar and cellar serving at least 6 wines by the glass and a choice of real ales all from Yorkshire.
In our humble opinion the surrounding scenery is spectacular, the accommodation is luxurious, our food and wine is amongst the best in Britain and The White Swan Inn's team is about the friendliest you'll ever come across. Pick a price that suits you and come and see us soon!
