B & B AL CENTRO is in a strategic position between the ancient, artistic and commercial centre of Sorrento.

Located on the third floor of a historic building with no elevator, overlooking the Gulf of Naples, it is an ideal place to enjoy the city on foot, among the luxury shopping streets, the many souvenir shops, the restaurants and bars of the folkloristic street of San Cesareo.

From the nearby Villa Comunale you can walk or lift the exclusive Sorrento beaches and the port of Sorrento, where daily hydrofoils depart to Capri, Ischia, Naples. Enchanting to admire is also the marina village of Marina Grande, famous for the frame of the idyll between Donna Sofia and Don Antonio, protagonists of the famous film directed by great director Dino Risi: "Pane, Amore e Fantasia


Storia

You can also visit the Basilica of Sant'Antonino, patron of the city of Sorrento, the complex of the convent of St. Francis of Assisi, consisting of the church, the monastery and the cloister. It dates back to the 14th century and is mainly made in Baroque style. The cathedral of Sorrento dedicated to Santi Filippo and Giacomo, the museum-workshop of the Tarsialignea, which preserves precious and valuable examples of local production and documents the culture and landscape in which it was born and flowered, Sedil Dominova, an elegant lodge located in Largo Dominova and dates back to the XIV century.

The B & B is located in the historic centre of Sorrento, very close to the train station, the bus stops, the best restaurants, the harbour, the beaches, and "Corso Italia" the shopping street par excellence.

By car: Take the A3 Napoli-Salerno highway, exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Continue on the Sorrento State Road (SS145) and follow the directions. 

By plane: The nearest national and international airport is Naples-Capodichino. It is possible to make use of the bus links to Sorrento by private or public bus on request.

By train: At Naples Central Station you can take the Circumvesuviana line to Sorrento. The route is about 1 hour with departures every 30 minutes.

By hydrofoil: Daily service with connections from Naples and Capri.
