The Coach House Inn has been extensively refurbished, situated in the village of Winterbourne Abbas, close to the south coast. Sitting between Dorchester and Bridport on the A35 and only
10-20 minutes from Weymouth and Portland.
The Coach House Inn boasts five luxurious hotel rooms set within the atmospheric pub dating from 1814. Stay in modern luxury whilst enjoying the evocative historic surroundings of a highwayman’s travelling Inn.
Our spacious rooms have been refurbished using stylish modern fixtures and fittings, with the comfort and experience of the guest in mind. Our rooms contain luxury beds, crisp cotton sheets and a real duvet with feather pillows, so you can be sure to get a good night’s sleep on your Staycation.
Situated through it’s own private entrance, the bed and breakfast portion of our pub has 24h access so you can get out and about exploring the beautiful Dorset Countryside at your leisure.
All of our luxury rooms are dog-friendly, with a surcharge of £15 per night for your four legged friends. The rooms include a water bowel for use of your dog during your stay and a Dorset Doggy Welcome Pack to take away with you.
Dogs are also welcome in our pub in our special dog-friendly section - just ask a member of staff where that is!
Inside The Coach House Inn our dining and bar area has also undergone a refurbishment creating a relaxed, friendly atmosphere to relax and enjoy a drink and a meal, where also Dogs are welcome in our special dog-friendly section - just ask a member of staff where that is!
During the Autumn and Winter season, we have our log fires burning, creating a cosy ambience. In the Spring and Summer, our pub garden is the perfect little sun trap for sipping on your favourite Dorset beer or cider.
