High Park is a beautifully appointed farmhouse which stands majestically in extensive grounds, approached down a private drive just a few short miles from the quant North Yorkshire village of Ebberston, on the edge of the Howardian hills AONB, complete with truly breath-taking views. This exclusive use property is the ideal setting for gatherings of families and friends, walking and cycling groups or the perfect break away for a more secluded hideaway from everyday life. High Park is dog friendly and has a Hot Tub.
Step inside and take in the exceptional interiors with the soft farrow and ball colour palette and the generous space for gatherings around the beautiful cottage kitchen table with the added benefit of an AGA, any cooks dream kitchen! Or you may choose to sit back and relax in front of the open fire in the spacious and extremely comfortable living area with smart TV and stunning views across open countryside.
With four enchanting bedrooms which sleep 8 guests, along with an upstairs bathroom suite and separate downstairs shower room and WC, there really is plenty of room for everyone.
The property also has the added benefit of a spacious boot room and an indoor dog room. There is also a lockable bike store with floor mounted bike racks for up to 8 bicycles. Making this the perfect base to explore North Yorkshire on foot with your four-legged friend or on 2 wheels!
Outside you will find a secure spacious garden with outside seating and BBQ facilities. There is also a Hot tub which is positioned to take in the spectacular views!
Ample parking is available at the side of the property.
Owner Rachael and family have lovingly renovated the property to its former glory, with the farmhouse been an important part of their family since 1903. You very much get a feel of its family importance when you enter, with enchanting snippets of the true family history of High Park.
(Please Note: High Park is positioned on a working farm so some farm machinery will be in and around the property at certain times of the year.)
THE LOCAL AREA
The property is just a short drive to the pretty village of Thornton-le-dale home to the famous car auction house ‘Matthewsons’ along with an array of enchanting shops, tea rooms and eating establishments. The quaint market towns of Pickering, Malton and Helmsley are also very close by. High Park is positioned on the very doorstep to the North York Moors National Park and only a short cycle ride direct from the property to Dalby Forest itself. The cathedral City of York is also extremely easily accessible, lying just 30 miles away. A beautiful walk lies directly from the doorstep of Park House leading you down into Ebberston itself and the highly rated Grapes Public House.
