Panoramica

Schafer House, parte dell'University College London (UCL). A pochi minuti a piedi da Regent's Park, Schafer House ha aperto nel 1995. Schafer House dispone di circa 366 camere, tra cui camere singole in appartamenti.

I teatri del West End di Londra sono facilmente raggiungibili, mentre Oxford Street è raggiungibile in 15-20 minuti a piedi o in autobus dalla vicina Gower Street. Nelle vivaci Charlotte Street e Drummond Street troverete numerosi ristoranti per tutti i gusti. Regent's Park, una famosa attrazione per i suoi giardini, lo Zoo di Londra e il suo teatro all'aperto.

Il residence mantiene gli ospiti nella stessa camera per l'intera durata del soggiorno, ma è possibile, soprattutto per prenotazioni più lunghe, che venga cambiata camera durante il soggiorno. Si prega di segnalare nella sezione informazioni aggiuntive se si necessita di un alloggio vicino all'ascensore, poiché alcuni appartamenti non ne sono dotati.

Cibo & bevande

Self-catering accommodation is offered, with each guest having access to a kitchen shared between up to four other guests. These kitchens are fully equipped and all have refrigerators, freezers, cookers, kettle and microwaves with limited crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.

There are shopping facilities close to the residence. Major supermarkets Sainsbury and Tesco supermarkets are within a 5-10 minute walk of the residence. There are also restaurants, pubs, cafes and sandwich shops in the immediate vicinity. Guest’s are responsible to clean and tidy after their use.

There is a small courtyard at Schafer House; Regent’s Park is a 10-minute walk away.

Complimentary WiFi throughout the building. 

A card/mobile app operated laundrette is available on site. There is a lift but it does not access all rooms. If you require lift access, please request it in the Additional Information section of the booking form.

There is a vending machine providing drinks and snacks on site. There is a common room with a TV for the use of all guests.

There are window restrictors on all windows in this building for H&S reasons.  There is no AC on site.

The location was most convenient for me. It was easy to get to. The room was clean and tidy. The only problems were that there was no way of turning off the light from the bed. And that there was no possibility of opening the window wide enough to cope with the heat; I’m sure the H&S policies wouldn’t let you alter that, which is a bit frustrating. Other than those, it was great. The staff were superb.

The room was clean, tidy and shower & toilet were conveniently located. Unfortunately the fob on my keyring did not work so I relied on passers by to let me out. The staff were very helpful in shoeing me where to go. I was surprised that the rooms in the shared flat were not let as single sex but nothing untoward took place. I would recommend the facility however with that caveat.

Very pleased with the stay. The room was clean and tidy and the staff were welcoming. I particularly liked the fact that the room was in a block of 4 bedrooms only and with a nice well equipped communal kitchen and nearby shower and toilet. The building is ideally placed for Euston Station trains and underground.

The reception and security staff were always so approachable and receptive to any questions or concerns I had, and the cleaning staff were also so friendly!

Very warm with restricted window opening and no air con or fan. Very few pots and pans in kitchen, no plates or bowls. But clean and quiet room and flat.

Very happy with my stay. In fact I've booked another two weeks at Schafer House to start later his month.
