Typically basic student accommodation, but that's what you would expect on a university campus. Rooms were clean and perfectl;y adequate for use as a base and it was nice to have a kettle with tea and coffee in the room. Kitchen equipped with basics though we didn't use it as the refectory was just a few minutes walk away where they served value-for-money great breakfasts and a selection of cooked meals until 9pm. I would consider this accommodation to be good value for money.

Excellent value for money accommodation, it would have been good to have a bit more information about Cardiff its self with a guide available in the room with things about the city having never been there before. One really good thing was I lost my wallet on the campus and it was handed into reception with everything in it which restored my faith in humanity, staff in reception also excellent and very chatty so a great experience over all

Room was functional and clean and as expected having stayed in uni accomodation before. Missed having a room to congregate as a group in -we were on a reunion weekend -so it would have been nice to have a lounging space to chill out in when we weren't out and about. Extremely good value if all you want is a cheap clean bed for a night or two.

The Hall is well situated for getting in to town. The rooms were quite basic - no shelves in the bathroom and no bedside cupboard or lamp - but the shower was good and everything was clean.

You really can't beat it for value for money and a stones throw from the city centre! I was in town for a concert and the cheapest hotel nearby was £120 a night more!
