Historie

This Victorian terrace hotel has been run by the same family for 40 years and has gradually expanded through the years. The hotel is situated on the remains of a Roman Fort, Fort Petriana, with the outer wall of the fort running under the car park.

Breakfast is served between 6.45am and 9am Monday to Friday and 8am - 10am Saturday and Sunday in the Garden Suite and is charged at  £11.95 per adult, and £6.95 per child. Breakfast offers everything you need to start your day off right. Whether you are used to a full English breakfast or Continental breakfast, you can’t help but enjoy this first meal of the day. Continental breakfast is served buffet-style and hot drinks are served to your table by the property's breakfast team.

Food is served daily from 1200am-2.00pm and from 6.00pm-9.00pm in the Conservatory Restaurant. Offering locally sourced Cumbrian inspired favourites including daily specials, cooked freshly to order. Bar snacks and light bites are also available throughout the day as well as indulgent afternoon tea served 2.00pm-5.00pm and includes fresh scones, cream and finger sandwiches.

Bar open from 11.00am to 11.00pm.
