We enjoyed our time at Hughes Hall. We found your staff friendly and helpful and liked the quiet environment. We would have given a higher star rating if breakfast had been included in the price. We were glad to be near Mill Road and discover the authentic Italian restaurant there. Thanks Hughes Hall, Cambridge

No room cleaning for the second day despite daily cleaning had been promised (also, coffee/tea/milk supply in the room was not refilled at all during the stay). However, the internet was fast, the room had the basic necessities, and the location was excellent. Pembroke College, Oxford

Friendly help from the porters while booking in and out, spotlessly clean room with everything we needed and a great location for getting around in the City. We would like to stay here again sometime. Downing College, Cambridge

I would have given more than 5 stars if available. Room excellent, staff excellent, breakfast excellent. A lovely quiet break. I could have stayed a few more days and will be back. Thank you. Christ Church, Oxford

Pleasantly surprised at changes of linen and towels etc each day. The location means its great value ( that's not an invitation to put your prices up!) Think I was in room 307 west. Beit Hall, Hyde Park, London
