Historie

Lucy Cavendish College was established in 1965 as a college at the University of Cambridge for women aged over 21. Women from a variety of backgrounds come to Lucy Cavendish where they can study at this world-class university at a time in their lives that suits them.  The College is named after Lucy Cavendish, a leading Victorian campaigner for the reform of women’s education.

The rooms at the new student centre are offered on a self-catering basis and as a guest, you will have access to a contemporary, spacious kitchen that is perfect for the preparation of simple meals. Basic crockery and cutlery are provided. 

Nearby you will find takeaway restaurants, a café and a variety of supermarkets or if you'd prefer then a vast array of restaurants awaits in the centre of Cambridge.
