The Bay Hotel, Porthallow

The Bay Hotel is set in a unspoilt coastal location in the picturesque fishing village of Coverack on the glorious Lizard Peninsula, Cornwall. An area of outstanding natural beauty with nearly every room in the hotel having stunning, uninterrupted sea views across Coverack Bay.

The Lizard Peninsula is an explorer’s paradise and as the hotel is situated in front of the beach, on the Cornish coastal path – an ideal base for walks to discover the breath taking scenery and glimpsed hidden away beaches and coves. The unspoilt environment also attracts those keen on photography, bird watching, star gazing and the fascinating Cornish light is always an enchantment to many a visiting artist. With no light pollution in the village, on a clear evening, the night sky is a wonder to behold.

The friendly, relaxed setting allows you to escape the stresses of everyday life. While away the hours in beautiful surroundings and perhaps enjoy a Cornish Cream Tea or glass of Champagne on the terrace and gaze at the sea with no traffic and no crowds to disturb you – or relax with a book in the garden or lounge. The menu changes daily with House Specials and lobsters landed from Coverack Bay. All 14 rooms are decorated in mellow, coastal tones, have crisp, white Egyptian sheets, fluffy duvets, flat screen T.V's, power showers and nearly all have stunning views of the sea across Coverack Bay. All room rates include a delicious Cornish breakfast cooked to order and free parking and WIFI.
