Castle View Guest House is situated in the cathedral city of Durham, just a short stroll away from the city’s amenities.
This 250-year-old guesthouse is surrounded by picturesque riverside walks, and spectacular views of the cathedral and castle.
The guesthouse is an excellent base for exploring the city’s attractions which are all within walking distance including the stone cobbled streets which are filled with restaurants, pubs and cafes, leading to the magnificent cathedral. Within a 15-minute walk are the beautiful botanical gardens and the Gala theatre.
We are the closest guest house to the city centre. The house is situated in a cul-de-sac for which we issue complementary parking permits which are effective from 5pm on the day you arrive until 10am the following day. outside these hours pay and display parking is available.
The guest house has recently been refurbished, and are all deluxe rooms featuring a mix of King Size and Twin beds, 40 inch flat screen TVs, hair driers, tea and coffee etc.
