Homerton College has an unusual and interesting history which commenced with a London society in 1730 eventually acquiring the current site the Cavendish College, Cambridge in 1894. It became a ladies college due to the University not approving of a mixed college at that time and did not start taking men again until 1976.
It was not until 2010 that Homerton was finally granted full collegiate status as a self-governing college of the University of Cambridge. Homerton is one of the largest colleges in Cambridge and is also very proud to be known as the friendliest College.
Your breakfast will be served in one of the dining rooms or the Buttery.
Bedroom blocks are situated within 25 acres of beautifully maintained grounds which guests are welcome to explore at leisure.
Free on-site parking is available on a first-come first-serve basis.

That's was perfect, high-standard service, room very clean and comfortable (unless a bit hot, since under the roofs, and with no air-conditioned, but it might be the deal when you arrive on a sunny day), breakfast was delicious, homerton college fellows' rooms are highly recommendable for anyone visiting Cambridge for the first time! 匿名

I loved every second of my stay at Homerton. The only down side was not having a hairdryer or any hand soap in the room but I do appreciate that it is a student room and not a hotel. The lady on the tills in the dining hall was very friendly. EmmaM

On arrival, guests should check in to their rooms at the Porters' Lodge, located at the front of the College on Hills Road. Please note, the Lodge is open 24hrs a day.
