A delicious breakfast is served in The Good Sport pub nearby, from 8.30am - 11am. Enjoy proper coffee, a Full English with traditional Cumberland sausage, and healthy options.
In the apartments available there are self-catering facilities.
As well as Grasmere Lake there are the rolling hills and woodlands of Cumbria at the doorstep. Endless hiking opportunities.
With private access to Lake Grasmere, the hosts have provided a couple of small rowing boats for guests to use.
On the ground floor is a guest lounge with large windows overlooking Grasmere Lake and the surround Fells. There is free Wifi throughout the house and TVs with Children television networks.
There is also a free ATM/cash machine at The Good Sport.

The house is located on the Southern outskirts of Grasmere Village, just off the A591. Whether coming from the North or South, exit the A591 at the roundabout by Grasmere onto Stock Lane. After 100 metres turn left just past the post office down Lake View Drive. Lake View Country House is on the left-hand side after 50 metres.
