概述

Located close to Hadrian's Wall and Pennine Way and within easy reach of Vindolanda, Housesteads and other Roman sites, the Old School House is a perfect base for touring, walking or cycling. The property has five bedrooms (one double, one double/twin, two twins and one single) allowing up to nine guests to stay at any time. Spacious, comfortable guest lounge, drying facilities for wet weather days and a home-cooked full breakfast to start your day perfectly.

历史

Built in the 1870s, the house was converted a hundred years later, becoming a photography school in 2002, hence the photographer on the property's sign. The Old School House is a short walk from the town centre. A beautiful riverside path will take you to the wall, the property is close to Hadrian's Wall and Pennine Way long distance footpaths, as well as cycleways 68 and 72.

The Old School House offer a full breakfast for all guests, biscuits or cake on arrival and packed lunches on request (additional cost). The Old School House is close to the pubs and restaurants of Haltwhistle and guests are welcome to bring takeaway food into the house.
