概述

圣奥尔德茨街 117 号大楼是基督教堂的附属建筑，位于中心位置，就在主教堂对面，在路的尽头。

酒店为客人提供全新装修的舒适双人套房，配备标准双人床（可供单人或双人入住） （所有客人必须年满18周岁，如不符合入住条件恕不退款）。部分客房设有临街窗户（请注意可能会受到噪音干扰），但许多客房的视野受限，只能看到其他建筑物的后方。客房分布在四层楼，可通过电梯抵达。

请前往位于基督教堂正门入口（汤姆门旁）的门房办理入住手续。19:30之后抵达的客人，汤姆门将关闭，请使用左侧的门铃通知门房以便进入。

旅馆接待处全天 24 小时都有工作人员值守，是 117 St Aldates 大楼唯一的咨询点，因为附属建筑没有单独的接待处。

学院不接受单身派对（Stag/Men）团体预订，仅接待18岁及以上的成人，且不允许婴儿/儿童与成人同住一间客房。所有入住者必须年满18岁。如您预订了此类客房，我们将要求您取消预订。退款金额将按照相关条款和条件执行；如果您抵达学院，我们将拒绝您入住，且不予退款。此外，学院不允许客人携带访客进入。

历史

St Aldates Building is located on what is probably the oldest street in Oxford. From the eighth century, it would have carried traffic from the Midlands, across the river, towards the south. In the fourteenth century, shops stood on the site of number 117 and at some point in the next hundred years, the shops were rebuilt and the Red Lion Inn occupied the plot until about 1740.

Today's accommodation was built in 1938 as a rather glamorous Art Deco showroom, called Therm House, for the Oxford and District Gas Company.

A cooked and continental breakfast is available in the unique setting of the Great Hall, Christ Church, with its stunning hammer-beam roof and wonderful oil paintings. Breakfast is self-select, but if you have any queries due to an allergy or intolerance, please speak to a member of staff.

All guests are welcome to visit Christ Church and enjoy the unique atmosphere of the College and Cathedral. Find out more about Christ Church and its history at the College website. The Masters' Garden is open during daylight hours and is a lovely place to walk or sit. The Meadow, home to Christ Church's own long-horn cattle and adjacent to the River Isis, is open to the public till dusk.

We very much enjoyed the experience of staying at Christ Church College, and would love to do so again. The Great Hall was wonderful and the atmosphere of the college was really special. My one disappointment was the room in the St Aldates Building, which was smaller than I expected from the website photos (especially the bathroom). The bathroom fan and especially the bathroom light stayed on longer than needed and interfered with sleep a little. The room affected the value for money score.

I loved my stay in this hostel. I don't have enough word space here to express the fabulous time i had. in short it was a 5 star experience for a 3 star price. I have already recommended this place to people I know and will definitely chose if i come back. clean and well maintained, fabulous breakfast buffest, amazing staff, great location, safe, awe-some!

Enjoyed a one night stay at 117 St Aldgate’s with an atmospheric breakfast in the Great Hall. Grateful to the Porters who kindly changed my room as the first room I was given was unbearably hot. Also grateful to be able to leave our luggage before and after our stay. The setting, buildings, staff and service all contributed to a memorable stay. Thank you.

The location was perfect for us. We were close to all the attractions and particularly to the Weston and the Bodleian Library. Breakfast in the Great Hall was a real experience. The ensuite rooms at the Aldgate were adequate - plain but functional, as one would expect of student housing

Everything was great apart from the fact that the room was incredibly warm, despite the outside weather as you would expect for early Seotember. We were hugely grateful for the fan left in the room which helped to reduce the temperature,. We left it on all night although noisy.

Great service. However, pressing iron and ironing board should be included with two bottles of water on arrival. Especially for travellers from overseas.

Check-in at the Porters’ Lodge within Christ Church, located at the main entrance, off Tom Gate. For arrivals after 1930, Tom Gate will be closed so please use the bell on the left-hand side to alert the porter in order to gain access. The lodge reception is staffed 24-hours a day and is the only information point for 117 St Aldates as there is not a separate reception in the annexe.

On arrival, all guests will be asked to check their details and sign a guest information form (required under the Immigration (Hotel Records) Order 1972). Non-UK guests will also be required to provide the number and place of issue of their passport, their nationality and their next destination. These records must be kept for at least 12 months and be available for inspection by any police officer.

Unfortunately, there is no parking for guests staying at 117 St Aldates Building. Details of where to park in Oxford can be found on the Oxford City Council website.
