历史

The Coach House was built in the grounds of a large family home. It originally served as a coach house and stable. The ground floor was used for keeping the horses and a large amount of straw was found when the building was later converted into a house. The stable floor is still present under what is now the floor of the dining room and reception.

The Coach House offer a simple, continental style breakfast in the property's lounge from 8.00 a.m until 9.30 am.

Allergies and special diets such as nut and gluten-free options are catered for, though please notify these requirements at the time of booking.

There are many restaurants and cafes within walking distance offering lovely food to suit all tastes.

The Coach House is superbly located in the heart of the Lake District, with a wealth of outdoor activities on the doorstep.

Windermere town, Bowness and Lake Windermere itself are all under a mile away.

Each room has ensuite facilities and a number of other features to make the stay even more memorable.  These include tea & coffee making facilities, TVs, large cupboards/drawers, complimentary toiletries and alarm clocks.

Wifi free of charge and is available throughout the common areas of the house and is available within all of the bedrooms.

Free parking is available on site.

If guests arrive early or wish to store their luggage once checked out, The Coach House are happy to store luggage with prior arrangement.

There is a relaxing and cosy lounge at the front of the property where guests can relax.
