The Fleur de Lys Inn, is a 17th Century coaching Inn, which has played host to travellers from all walks of life for centuries. Thomas Hardy, whose Chaseborough, in Tess of the D’Urbervilles, was based on Cranborne, visited the inn in the late nineteenth century, while smugglers used it as a base during the eighteenth century.
Set in the idyllic village of Cranborne, in the center of an Area of Oustanding Natural Beauty. Surrounded by the rolling Dorset countryside, with miles upon miles of stunning walks through forests, fields, lanes and riversides.
