The Old Posthouse is a small family run business in the former village post office. The building dates back to Victorian times but has been refurbished to a high standard. We offer a welcoming and comfortable place to stay - "a home from home".
Located just north of Lincoln in the village of Normanby by Spital, we are a 2 minute walk from the local village pub and post office/shop, and a 5 minute drive from both the A15 and the A631 with easy access to Lincoln, The Lincolnshire Showground, Market Rasen Racecourse, the Lincolnshire Wolds, the indoor antiques centres at Hemswell Cliff and a variety of other attractions.
We have a VisitEngland 4 star rating, a Silver Award and a Breakfast Award. We offer a great place to stay as a base for exploring large parts of Lincolnshire, or if visiting the area on business or seeing family or friends; and there is plenty of private parking at the side of the house behind gates which we shut and lock at night, and guests have their own private entrance.
There are 3 bedrooms accommodating up to 6 people (2 with ensuites and 1 with its own large private and exclusive bathroom). They have been tastefully decorated and we use luxury Hypnos mattresses for guests comfort. There are 2 rooms downstairs where guests eat and seats where they can relax. Guests can also sit outside and enjoy the garden.
We started taking guests in April 2018.
