We try to keep things simple at the Waggon. We are proud to be a traditional British pub serving cask-conditioned ale from the best breweries in Yorkshire and across the British Isles. We have seven comfortable, en-suite letting bedrooms that are the perfect base for exploring everything the historic city of York has to offer.
Whatever you need from us, you'll always get a warm welcome and be served in a spirit of genuine hospitality.

Please note we do not take bookings from hen or stag parties, and while dogs and children are welcome in the pub, we cannot accommodate them for overnight stays.
