概述

Opened in 2004 on Dawson Street, less than 100m from Magdalen Bridge and very close to Cowley Road, the William R Miller Building has 55 en-suite bedrooms located on 3 floors.

Offering accommodation during July, August and September and within a 10-minute walk to many of the Oxford University departments and the centre of town. All of the main bus routes are within a 2-minute walk, which includes regular bus service to London, Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

Check-in is between 14:00 and 20:00 at Tamesis Guest House, 45 Iffley Road (corner of Circus Street), Oxford OX4 1ED (about 4 mins walk from WRM Building).

After 20:00 check-in at St Edmund Hall, Queen's Lane, Oxford OX1 4AR (about 9 mins walk from WRM).

Breakfast is not included and rooms are offered on a room only basis.

Within a 5 minute walk, there is a choice of over 20 restaurants, 10 cafes and 6 bars all serving a variety of meals throughout the day and night.

Free internet is provided and can be accessed by asking the reception team on your arrival.

There is a laundry facility on-site a Children are most welcome if accompanied by adults. Baby cots are provided if requested when booking a room. Please make your request on the 'Additional Information' section of the booking form.

Unfortunetly there are no lugguge storage facilities.

We had to ask for the boiler to be reset as there was no hot water on arrival. If we had arrived at a later hour this would have been a much more impactful experience due to our very long day of flying total of 13 hours. However, our porter/reception personnel was very helpful in resetting the boiler at a time he was to be off hours.

这里是游览牛津的理想下榻之处。房间虽小，但床很舒服，淋浴也很干净。唯一不足之处是窗外正对着一个巨大的安全灯，光线会从窗帘边缘透进来，导致房间无法完全遮光。早餐非常棒，有新鲜的面包卷、水果、麦片、酸奶、火腿、奶酪等等。我会推荐这家住宿。

Please report to Reception at Tamesis Guest House (45 Iffley Road, Oxford, OX4 1ED, about 4 mins walk away), after 20:00 please report to St Edmund Hall, Queen's Lane, Oxford OX1 4AR, about a 8 mins walk away) where the 24 hour porters' lodge will assist you. Luggage storage is available.

Directions:

By Car: Follow signs towards the City Centre along the A420, Dawson Street is the last road on your left before you get onto the Plain Roundabout. For sat-nav users type in the postcode OX4 1GF

By Train: Although the train station is walkable, with luggage the property would suggest taking a taxi and asking to be dropped off at the William Miller Building in Dawson Street.

By Air: You can take the Airline coach from Heathrow or Gatwick airports. Ask the driver to drop you off at the last stop in St Clements. Follow the direction of the Coach for roughly 150 metres and Dawson Street will be on your left. Turn into Dawson Street and you will see a red brick building on your left with a side above the metal gates which says The William R Miller Building.
