The Stephen Hawking Building, (Gonville & Caius College), Cambridge

I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Stephen Hawking building of Gonville & Caius. The accommodation was clean and spacious - just the shower caused me some problems as the water went everywhere and there was no bathmat! The Porters were all charming and so helpful with information on just about anything. And the quiet places to sit were very welcome. Breakfast was delicious and special mention to the wonderful coffee shop reached through the breakfast room - good coffee and such welcoming staff!

The facilities are simple, but clean and perfect for someone looking to spend a few days in Cambridge doing work at the University or the Museums. The Porters are extremely helpful. The Stephen Hawking Building is quite far from Gonville & Caius' Old Courts, about a 15 minute walk. But it is a pleasant walk and inexpensive uber ride.

Great breakfast. Most of the service was very good. Breakfast server sighed both mornings when I said I was vegetarian. Porters generally great, although one got angry and accusatory when I asked for an extra blanket; I guess they sometimes have people trying to sneak extra people in. Will come back!

The accommodation as a single room was excellent. The same sized room as a double was somewhat crowded with little room to move. We had challenges with the wifi provision. However it was all pleasant, clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

The room was clean, well appointed and ideal for exploring the town. The porters were friendly and helpful in providing directions and recommendations. The breakfast options were ideal.

Excellent accommodation. We had a fantastic stay, the porters couldn't have been more helpful. The bed was really comfortable and the location close to the backs is perfect.
