Basic accommodation, for those who would prefer spending their money on seeing the sights of London rather than on plush hotels. Room was clean and quiet. Shared toilet and shower but this was not a problem as there were two of each on each floor. Well-equipped kitchen area. Central location very convenient to buses and underground - Warren Street station only 8 minutes away. The only thing that might cause concern is that some rooms are on 3rd floor and there is no lift.

Nice room, clean, safe, quiet, historical building. Very pleased with stay. Will return and recommend others to use this opportunity. Very friendly staff. If you would like to enhance your stay; bring lights for reading in bed, towel if you stay longer than a few days (changed weekly), soap and shampoo, only one key per room (nothing to do), This is meant as friendly advice. We enjoyed the stay very muck.

I enjoyed a very pleasant stay. London was experiencing a heat wave and a fan would have been welcome, but otherwise I had everything that I needed and would definitely book to stay again. Reception staff very friendly, the location is superb and the wifi was great,

Generally great price as well as room - as this is an older house it is quite noisy- I woke up multiple nights due to the sounds of the person staying in the room above (creaking floor and squeaking bed frame). But for the price and location I would stay again.

I enjoyed a comfortable stay in a quiet and well appointed room. The accommodation was in a central location, it was very clean and the staff were most helpful and courteous at all times. Thank you for helping to make my stay in London an enjoyable one.

I had a great experience at the gower street houses. The room was very nice and clean, the bathrooms and kitchen were clean. The kitchen door was a bit noisy, but that was only a small inconvenience. Thank you.

Lovely people, excellent value for the price. No a/c or elevators, but that's why it's a good deal. Fabulous location close to the Britis Museum and UCL
