Overview

Avoca House Bed & Breakfast, situated one mile from Dublin City Centre, offers stylish bed and breakfast accommodation whilst maintaining the warmth of a traditional family-run bed and breakfast. For a long vacation or just a mini-break, Avoca House caters for the guest’s every need. Situated close to the airport, botanic gardens, Irish pubs and bus stop, Avoca House is ideally situated to experience Dublin at its best.

All rooms are en-suite with TV and video recorders and toiletries are provided. Rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryers and are non-smoking. There is a welcoming garden patio where guests can relax and retire to, with a refreshment or cup of Bewley’s Irish coffee. 


History

Avoca House, named after a famous scenic area in county Wicklow, "The Garden of Ireland", is a combination of both old and new architectural styles. Built at the beginning of the 20th century, the house has recently been expanded and modernized throughout, keeping all the original features.

Food & beverage

A delicious breakfast, served between 8.00 and 10.00am, is included.

One can choose from the Continental menu, offering fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurts, smoked salmon and cheese, along with bread, jams and coffee or tea.

The famous cooked 'Irish Breakfast' is available to order. This includes sausages, rashers, eggs, hash browns, beans and white pudding.

A vegetarian cooked breakfast is also available.

Grounds & Gardens

A spacious garden patio with table and chairs, is available to guests to relax in and enjoy a beverage.

Other facilities

Wireless internet access, luggage storage facilities and a washing machine/laundry are available to guests. Guests can make use of the sitting room with TV and the garden patio. Avoca offers personal taxi service and free parking. Avoca has credit card facilities.
