Overview

The accommodation is located on Ffriddoedd Road, a 10-minute walk from the centre of Bangor.

All rooms are ensuite single bedrooms arranged within units of 8 with shared kitchen facilities.

Food & beverage

The accommodation offers self-catering facilities which include use of communal kitchens. These kitchens are fully equipped and have refrigerators, freezers, cookers, and microwaves.

Kitchens are cleaned frequently but guests are responsible for their own washing and tidying up.

Tea and coffee making facilities are available in every room.

The accommodation is within easy access to a range of cafes and restaurants. During term time the campus bar/ restaurant is open between 11.00am and midnight and the campus shop is open between 8.00am and 10.00pm.

The accommodation is located on a campus which has picnic tables and outdoor seating.

Other facilities

Use of the University’s WiFi network is free. The onsite reception can provide guests with a valid username and password at check-in.

There are two card-operated laundrettes for guests' use. Guests can purchase cards from a machine in the on-site security lodge. 

The University prohibits smoking and electric smoking devices in and within 5metres of University buildings.

The accommodation is a 10-minute walk from Bangor train station.

By car - Exit the A55 at junction 9 and follow the signs to Ysbyty Gwynedd (Gwynedd Hospital). Do not turn into the hospital but continue straight ahead for 1 kilometre. At the first roundabout, turn left up the hill (Belmont Road). After 250 meters, turn right onto Ffriddoedd Road. When you see Coleg Menai sites on your right, turn left up the drive to Neuadd Reichel (signposted).

Free parking is generally available on the campus for vehicles displaying a parking permit, which can be provided at check-in.
