Welcome to our charming traditional bed and breakfast, ideally located just five minutes from Canterbury West Station, ten minutes from the town centre, and fifteen minutes from the University of Kent. We provide comfortable, quality accommodation in fourteen beautifully appointed and tranquil rooms, each uniquely designed to reflect the historic character of the building. Recently refurbished with calming colours, period furniture, and original features such as fireplaces, wall paneling, and wooden floors, our rooms offer a blend of historic charm and modern comfort.
All rooms feature new beds with memory foam toppers on sprung bases, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Each en-suite bathroom includes a powerful shower with instant hot water, a heated towel rail, an LED mirror, and complimentary toiletries. Guests receive a welcome tray with ground coffee and a selection of teas, along with amenities such as a hairdryer, fan, and flat-screen TV with remote control.
A delicious continental or full English breakfast is served daily from 8am to 10am and is included in the room rate unless you have booked a 'room only'. Please inform us in advance if you require an early breakfast or wish for breakfast to stored in the dining room fridge. Should you change your mind and decide to have breakfast after booking, kindly call ahead. During summer months, guests can enjoy the garden patio with tables and sunshades for outdoor relaxation.
There is plenty to see and do in Canterbury, including visits to the famous Canterbury Cathedral and the Marlowe Theatre. We kindly ask guests to call at least an hour before arrival; check-in begins at 7pm, with early check-in available upon prior request. Please note that we do not accept late bookings made after 10pm on the day of arrival. We look forward to welcoming you for a memorable stay.
