Overview

This tour includes entry worth up to £3 inside either one college or two colleges.

Oxford city and University has so many sights about its many famous Oxford scholars and graduates. These tours are bespoke i.e. they can cater around communicated special interests as made known on the day or in advance. There are so many stories to tell about Oxford's more curious eccentric characters and the university college's traditions, thus gaining an insight into Oxford city and university history.

Tour duration is average 120 minutes and the public tour departs daily at 12.00.

Private tour requests can be booked on a more flexible start time but are set at default 12.000 unless otherwise requested.

Many of the guides are either Oxford students or graduates who can inform about the experience of college life and what it is like to study at Oxford. Private tours can also be booked with bilingual guides by advance notice only and for a surcharge fee.

Walking tours meet OUTSIDE the currently empty shop at 15 Broad Street, OX2 3AS. Your guide will be wearing a red <i love oxford> lanyard. This is located next to the first-ever Oxfam shop in the world at 17 Broad street.

Please note that VisitOxfordTours are not on sale inside there nor represented inside, so please just look for the guide standing outside. Broad Street is about a 10 to 15 minutes walk from Oxford coach station or train station.
