Excellent stay. Amazing location. Several suggestions - have sufficient fans during these repeated heatwaves. I was lucky that I was able to borrow one. Since you are renting out as a 'hotel' during the summer, to use all facilities, cutlery, washing up materials etc. are needed in the kitchens. Or warn people to bring their own. I found the desk staff to be very friendly and accommodating. As were the cleaning staff. Lounge and laundry not advertised, left to our own devices.

I stayed there during a conference. Having access to a shared kitchen with a fridge was very convenient. The room was clean throughout and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. The only issue was the shower: the water pressure was very strong and difficult to adjust, and it wasn’t possible to adjust the water temperature (or perhaps I just couldn’t work out how).

I had a very comfortable stay at John Dodgson House during a lovely hot week. The reception provided me with a fan for my room, which was much appreciated. I had everything I needed, and it was great to have use of the kitchen to make breakfast and a packed lunch each day. I would definitely recommend - also a fantastic location.

The staff were super friendly and welcoming. They offered help and supplied an extra pillow. The room was as expected - no frills but clean and comfortable. The shower was powerful but in the wrong position so wasn't pleasant to use! The building is in a great central location.

Great place, very close to the British Library, unbelievably great place for a decent and quiet stay... even got a fan during the extreme heatwaves in London... highly recommended, and this website is fab, thank you all guys, Cheers!

My first experience of university rooms and I had a really lovely stay. Would have been great to have a kettle and some cups in the kitchen that guests could use, but otherwise a fantastic stay.

Good location near to underground stations. Room had lots of desk space, wardrobe and plenty of storage. Shower a bit small and no fan so room was very warm! It was fine for the week.
