Newsham Grange Farm is a family run Bed and Breakfast on the outskirts of the Ancient market town of Thirsk in North Yorkshire lying below the Hambleton hills. The farm house is set in 16 acres of land with an orchard dating back to Georgian times. The decked terrace, adjacent the spa and swimming pool, overlooking the orchard is a particularly pleasant place to sit and watch the sun go down on a glorious summer evening.
We are A Grade II listed Georgian Farm House offering spacious facilities with en-suite rooms, including one with a Jacuzzi bath. Both rooms can easily accommodate an extra single bed should a family or twin room be required.
Thirsk market town is approximately 4 miles away with Northallerton market town been only 6 miles. Both have many shops, cafes, bars, restaurants as well as Thirsk having its own race course and the Famous World of James Herriot, which are well worth a visit. Both Thirsk and Northallerton railway stations are only a few minutes away by taxi. We also offer a free collection and drop of service by prior arrangement for arrivals and departures.
Newsham Grange Farm is well placed for you to explore the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors as well as Ripon, York, Harrogate and the lovely East coast with the resorts of Whitby, Scarborough and Robin Hoods Bay to name but a few. As both Thirsk and Northallerton are market towns why not arrange your stay and take advantage of the local produce on offer.
