Overview

NSTS Campus Residence borders the University of Malta sports grounds and Olympic swimming pool in the central location of Gzira/Msida.  It is a few minutes’ walk from the Gzira waterfront, its yacht marina and low cost eateries, only 3.5km from Valletta, and 2.2 km from Malta’s fashionable shopping centre, Sliema.

The Residence offers free simple buffet breakfast, features an outdoor pool, common-rooms and a 24-hour reception. 

The rooms include free Wi-Fi, private shower-room, free toiletries, heating, twice weekly cleaning. Most have a balcony overlooking the pool or extensive university grounds while few overlook an internal yard. For more economical living, the studio rooms additionally include a fully equipped kitchenette.


Food & beverage

Guests can enjoy a free basic breakfast in the indoor and outdoor dedicated breakfast area relaxing and watching TV from:

07:45am – 09:00am (Mon-Fri)
08:15am – 10:00am (Sat & Sun)

Some Vending machines are also available within the building, however, there are mini markets, pubs, take aways and restaurants within a short walk, serving both local and international cuisine.

Internet is available in all areas of the residence, and is included in the daily room rates. 24 hour emergency call service available.
Onsite laundry service. Tokens can be purchased from reception at €2.50 (detergent not provided).

An optional extra clean is also available at €7.50 per room available when booked 1 day in advance.

Directions: The closest bus stop is located within 5 minutes walking distance to take you to Valletta where you find the main bus station to anywhere around the island, while the weekend all night service from St. Julian's drops you just here. The Sliema Strand lies on the opposite side with the bus stop to Sliema, St Julian’s and to St. George’s Bay sandy beach, are also close by.

By Air: Malta International Airport 

You can request a private airport transfer from us or take a taxi or public transport to University of Malta Msida.

From Malta International Airport in Luqa you can take the bus number X2 to Msida (Skate park area). From this bus stop cross the skate park until you reach the Turkish mini market. From the mini market walk down Punent Street until you reach a small round about. Take the first street on your left (Nazju Falzon Street) and turn the second on your right (University street). Walk down University street until the road bends, on your right you will spot the NSTS three coloured residence.

You can also catch bus numbers x4 and x5 from Malta International airport to Valletta capital city. Then catch another bus from Valletta that takes you to Msida.
