The compact city of Oxford is ideal for bicycles. For a scenic trip past the boathouses & rowers or through the Port Meadow, you can also follow the Thames River route to see a picturesque very old chapel and stop at a garden pub.
Pricing as follows per adult mountain bike:
£20 to hire a bike from 10.00am-6.00pm
£30 to hire a bike for 24 hours
£100 to hire bike for 1 week.
Notice: Minimum numbers may be necessary to approve bike hire. You will be asked to either pay a deposit-bond of £100 per bike in cash or credit card in order to hire your bicycle.
Safety Information:
Note that it's not obligatory to wear a bike helmet in Oxford, so helmets are provided upon request.
The tour operator has public liability insurance but please note that customers must understand that they are nevertheless riding at their own risk and to follow the general safety instructions given by the guide at the start of the tour and during the tour. It is also a condition of booking a bicycle tour, that the customer must be familiar with how to ride a bicycle.
Weather in the U.K. is unpredictable and so it is advisable to dress for any type of weather.
