Situated next to the River Cam and home to the famous Mathematical Bridge, Queens’ College offers a selection of accommodation, perfect as a base to explore Cambridge and beyond.

The  twin ensuite accommodation is bright and comfortable situated in the Fisher Building and single ensuite rooms in either the Erasmus Building or in Cripps Court, all of which include breakfast.

With regret disabled rooms are not available at Queens' College.

History

Queens' College has a rich and magnificent history dating back many hundreds of years, showcasing many centuries of heritage and academic learning. The colleges older buildings date back to the 15th Century, whilst the more recent 20th Century buildings are modernistic in design, mixing traditional styling with modern design. constructed on the site of today’s Mathematical Bridge and shortly after, the first, 16th Century bridge was removed.

Renowned for banqueting and stunning chef prepared menus. Guests staying at Queens’ College can enjoy a full and hearty breakfast included in the price. Freshly prepared and delicious lunches can be purchased, please enquire on arrival.

On arrival, all guests must report to the Porter's Lodge (located at the main entrance to the college). Please show your booking confirmation receipt to the Porters to check in. The college is manned 24hrs a day.

All guests who do not hold a UK passport are required by law to fill in a Guest Registration Form - this will be in the Porters Lodge for you to fill in on arrival. You must bring your passport with you. You will then be given a key to your bedroom and directed to your room(s).

The College Porters’ duties do not involve handling luggage; you must carry your own luggage to and from your room.

On departure, please take your key to the Porters Lodge and they will be delighted to look after luggage until your departure from Cambridge.

Directions:

Car Parking: Unfortunately parking is not available at the college, and nearby car parks are expensive, at around £20 per day (see the Visitor Information page on CambridgeRooms.co.uk for more details). We are situated in the centre of Cambridge and we have close links to the train and bus station.

Arrival by Car: Queens' College is located in the heart of Cambridge and suggest using the following postcode for navigation: CB3 9ET

Arrival by Train: Cambridge railway station has fast and frequent services to London Liverpool Street and London Kings Cross Station. There are also regular services direct to London Stansted Airport. The station is situated only 2 miles from Queens' College and will cost less than £10.00 for a one way journey.

Alternatively, the "Citi 1" operates between the Railway Station and City Centre-St. Andrews Street. Queens' College is 10 minutes walk from this bus stop.

Arrival by Air: London Stansted Airport is less than 30 minutes drive, connecting Cambridge to many European destinations, whilst London City and London Heathrow Airports can be reached in less than 90 minutes. Journey time by taxi from London Stansted by taxi is approximately 30 minutes and should cost no more than £35.00 for a one way journey.
