Clean and comfortable accommodation with Regent's Park on its doorstep
Schafer House, part of University College London (UCL). A few minutes’ walk from Regent's Park, Schafer House opened in 1995.
Offers standard single rooms in flats of between 2 to 5 bedrooms. Each flat has a kitchen / dining room and a shower room with toilet. There is easy access to the West End; London theatres and Oxford Street are a 20 minute walk away or accessible by bus from nearby Gower Street. There are numerous restaurants to suit all budgets and tastes in nearby Charlotte Street and Drummond Street. Regent's Park is famous for its gardens, London Zoo and its Open Air Theatre.
Unfortunately Schafer House is unable to accommodate guests under the age of 18. They do try to keep guests in the same room for the entirety of their stay, but there is a possibility, particularly with longer bookings, that you may have to move rooms at some point during your stay. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. Please do notify us in the additional information box should you need to be placed near a lift as some flats do not have access to a lift.
Food and Drinks
Self-catering accommodation is offered, with each guest having access to a kitchen shared between up to four other guests. Each kitchen is equipped with a basic range of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils should you wish to cook your own meals.
There are shopping facilities close to the residence. Sainsbury and Tesco supermarkets are within a 10 minute walk of the residence. There are also restaurants, pubs, cafes and sandwich shops in the immediate vicinity. Guest’s are required to do their own tidying and washing up after their meals.
Grounds and gardens
There is a small courtyard at Schafer House; Regent’s Park is a 10 minute walk away.

A card/mobile app operated laundrette is available on site. There is a lift but it does not access all rooms. If you require lift access, please request it in the Additional Information section of the booking form.
There is a vending machine providing drinks and snacks on site. There is also; common room with a TV for the use of all guests.
