The Elstead Hotel is located in a quiet tree-lined avenue and is well placed for exploring the shops, pretty gardens and famous sandy beaches of cosmopolitan Bournemouth. It is within walking distance of the town and beach.

It offers quality accommodation of a high standard with well-equipped facilities and free WiFi. There is 24 hour room service, trouser press, ironing facilities and key card entry to each room. Please note a minimum of 3 nights over Bank Holidays is required for bookings at this time.

The attractive air-conditioned restaurant has an excellent reputation for traditional, home-cooked food. The Nordic Leisure Club at the Elstead offers excellent leisure facilities in attractive surroundings, including a 46' heated pool and fitness suite.

The Hotel restaurant enjoys an excellent local reputation for traditional good home cooked food. Whether you choose to dine in the elegant, air-conditioned restaurant or the more casual surroundings of the bar or terrace, you can be sure of unobtrusive, personal service and excellent food.

Continental breakfast is included in the price and is served from 7.30am to 9.30am Monday to Friday and 8.00am to 9.30am Saturday to Sunday.

The restaurant is also open for dinner at 7.00pm to 8.30pm and bar snacks are available 24 hours for residents.

There is also a good selection of restuarants, bars and cafes within walking distance.

Grounds & Gardens

The hotel has its own garden terrace and the well known Knyveton Gardens are within easy walking distance, which visitors can enjoy.

Other facilities

All guests can enjoy use of the Elstead's purpose built Nordic Leisure Club in wooded pine surroundings. The heated swimming pool is ideal for exercise and relaxation. The fitness suite has all the latest equipment for an exhilarating workout or just chill out in the sauna and steam room.

Directions: M27 junction 1 onto A31. Turn left onto A338 Ringwood Spur Road and follow road into Bournemouth. Look out for St Paul's Roundabout with Asda supermarket on the left hand side. Take 1st left at this roundabout, keeping Asda on the left. At the next roundabout go straight over and then take the first left off the dual carriageway into Knyveton Road. The hotel is 100 yards down the road on the left hand side.
