I was very happy with the stay. Beautiful building just a very short walk from the middle of Cambridge with parking right outside. I would stay here again and would recommend to others who need to be in that area. Great water pressure on the shower, not always the case in older buildings. Only negative was that the heating in the room was a rather too much and it wasn’t apparent in the middle of the night how to turn it down. Possibly also, easier to access electrical socket by the desk.

Our second time at Westminster College. Beautiful, peaceful building with clean, comfortable ensuite rooms, parking and a short, easy walk to the city centre. Hot/cold buffet breakfast with gluten free options (cereal, bread & sausages) for those who need them. My only comment would be the hot food servery would benefit from covers to keep the heat in foods like scrambled eggs, beans etc. Our #1 place to stay in Cambs and a great alternative to a hotel. we look forward to returning!

Room was spacious and the little kitchen area was a very useful feature. I would have preferred a king sized bed rather than the standard double sized bed. Parking good value. The college is in an excellent location. Reception staff very pleasant and helpful. Tasty breakfast in traditional college dining room, which is an experience all in itself.

Booked the room for my son. Great room and breakfast. I have booked with University Rooms before and have always found the whole experience - booking and stay very easy and enjoyable.

Luggage storage is available on request if your arrival time is before 2pm and your accommodation isn't ready. However, please bear in mind that the college cannot be held responsible for any theft or damage to any personal belongings.

The reception closes at 6.00pm each day, although the Night Cover will be on site from 6.00pm through to 12midnight. Please confirm arrival time.

Directions: The College is located just a moment’s walk north-west of the Cambridge City Centre, on the mini-roundabout at the junction of Madingley Road, Queens’ Road and Northampton Street.

By Car:

Whilst guests are welcome to park on-site, please note that the car park is ‘Pay and Display’ and is currently regulated as below, and that parking is not included in the room only rate:

All-day – Pay and Display  24hrs £10 , half at day £5

Although, the College is easily accessible from the major road networks (A14 and M11), parking on-site remains extremely limited and the College cannot guarantee parking on-site on arrival.

Also Cambridge gets very congested during peak times and access by car might not be the fastest mean of transport. You will find further details about alternative parking on the College's website.

By Rail:

Cambridge Station is about a 35 – 45 minute walk from the college. Buses run every 8 minutes into the centre of Cambridge and taxis are available for hire. By bus/coach: The College is about a 15-minute walk through the city from Drummer Street Bus Station. A taxi from the station to the college will cost around £10.
