Situated in the South Hams village of East Charleton, midway between Dartmouth and Salcombe and just 2 miles from the ancient market town of Kingsbridge the capital of the South Hams area that dates back to the early 13th century when the region was owned by the monks of Buckfast.
Barley House is one of three barns belonging to Home Farm which dates back to Victorian times and originally used to stable horses on the ground floor and store barley upstairs. The horses were used to haul stone from a nearby quarry, some of which went into the construction of the barns.
A Full English breakfast or continental breakfast or a breakfast of your choice is served at your convenience but no later than 9.30am. Locally sourced produce is always used.

Directions: From the East the M4 links directly to the M5 at Bristol. Continue down the M5 to Exeter (Estimated direct journey time London to Exeter 3 hours and 30 minutes). From the M5 take the A38 following signs to Kingsbridge.
By Rail: London mainline stations Paddington and Waterloo direct services to Exeter (fast train just over two hours). Rail links from the North of England and Midlands to the South West via Birmingham New Street.
