Beach Hut 78, West Mersea Beach

Fantastic beach hut! Hosts provided water and lovely facilities. My boys had fun playing with the toys provided. Had a lovely day. clean and in good condition. We made the mistake of eating from the club house - please do not do this, over priced and small portions and bad quality. The hosts kindly put a menu of a near by beach restaurant but we accidentally got it mixed up with the restaurant located behind the hut. The hosts were kind enough to pop in and say hello. Was lovely to meet them!

Absolutely beautiful day at Beach Hut 78. all we could have wishes for. Beautiful hut & position high up on beach. Parking directly behind=a blessing. Kitted out with everything you could need + helpful additions eg first aid kit. Privacy/sun curtain, very useful to pull across when changing or when the sun was high. My favourite bit of this hut? The full length bench that you can lie on and listen to the sound of the waves at high tide. Book hut 78, you won't be disappointed.

Hut was beautiful, everything is in there so no need to pack up deck chairs or toys! Easy to follow instructions on how to get in & lock up. Restaurant behind huts doesn’t serve food all day which is inconvenient if you’ve got young children that eat early. Menu is basic and food is disappointing. I would go again but I would take my own food next time - location needs a good fish & chips shop.

We hired hut for the day with family. even though weather was not brilliant We all had a lovely day. The hut is spotless and very well equipped - you don’t need to pack anything up Bly food & drink but you are literally behind a very nice pub/restaurant - we all was very impressed

The beach hut was brilliant. So well kitted out with everything we could possibly need. Close to the toilets, and water taps. We explored the beach, did some paddle boarding and played boules. We had fish and chips from a local shop whilst sitting on the decking it was a perfect day.

This is the first time booking a beach hut and we were not disappointed. We went for my daughters 3rd birthday and she loved every minute. It was in the perfect spot being right on the beach and the club house was directly behind as was the parking. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful beach hut in a great position with a park and restaurant / bar directly behind. Spent the day for my daughters birthday, everything we could need was supplied, great communication with hosts and will definitely return.

Beautiful beach hut in a fantastic spot right by all facilities toilets ect but so quiet and picturesque. Fully stocked with everything you need for a fun beach day!
