Komandoo, West Mersea Beach

The Hilton of beach huts. First class service from wonderful beach owners Lorraine and Shane. Hut was open and ready when we got there with a quick low down of where toilet were etc. Beautifully decorated with little extras like coffee sachets and suncream in the cupboards. Location is on point we have a toddler and an 8 year old so the pub behind was ideal. Amusements and ice cream at the ready. Parking right behind the hut and even the tap was a min walk away. We will definatly be returning.

We had a lovely experience at Hut 89. We were welcomed by the owner's family friend who set everything up for us. This meant every could just enjoy the beach straight away. The hut had everything you could need from toys to blankets. The bonus was that the toilets are right behind it and the water tap was just a minute away. We will be booking again.

What an amazing beach hut! It’s been beautifully designed and there’s everything you could need for a day there. As dog owners, we particularly appreciated the doggy bowl and treats. Ideal location as it’s a 30 second walk to the loo and you can park your car directly behind the hut.

Wonderful day, the hut was superb, great location, included everything we could possibly need, the owner was really helpful. Our dogs loved the goodies left out for them. We had a brilliant day in the sun and would definitely book again, thank you.

Lovely and homely hut with gas hob and plenty of chairs! Easy to find and the owner was very helpful and set everything up for us before we arrived. Will definitely book again. The kids had a great day building sandcastles all day!
