This grade II listed building is ideally situated in the centre of Emsworth, only a few miles from Portsmouth and Chichester. The Crown is an old Coaching Inn dating back to 1665, and has been very recently, extensively refurbished throughout, creating a contemporary yet traditional, relaxing and comfortable atmosphere for all.

We have 8 en-suite bedrooms that are all furnished with flat screen smart televisions, free Wi-Fi, and tea & coffee making facilities. Check-in commences from 3pm until 8pm Monday - Saturday and until 7.00pm on Sundays. Free parking (upon registration of vehicle and subject to availability) is available for 1 vehicle per room. Guests travelling with dogs are welcome with an additional charge of £10 per dog/per night charge.
Our kitchen is open lunchtimes and evenings and all our dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients. We use local suppliers for our meat, fish and vegetables. We have an upstairs function room (no lift) that seats up to 40+ which is suitable for business meetings, parties and private events. We also have a downstairs, private dining area that seats up to 20.
The Crown is a standout feature along the bustling High Street of Emsworth, an historic port that still retains its attractive harbour side location. Originally built as a coaching inn for the main thoroughfare to Brighton, The Crown has long been a focal point of the town's life and history.
