A riverside house, dating back to Georgian times, where you can enjoy a night and spend the days exploring the nearby countryside and market towns. Set in the valley of the River Kennet and just two miles from the market town of Marlborough. All bedrooms benefit from having garden views to the river. Ducks will come up the lawn to greet you in the morning or you can stroll down the garden to watch the activity on the river. Selected to be on the front cover of the leading accommodation guide Britain’s Finest in 2010.
Breakfast is served in the conservatory overlooking the garden with full English breakfast or continental Breakfast available. Special dietary requirements can also be accommodated.
There are chairs available on the lawn if you have time just to sit and watch the activities of the local river inhabitants – swans, ducks and moorhens with their families. There is plenty of spectacular walking country right on the doorstep, and wonderful shopping in Marlborough just up the road.
Dogs by arrangement.
