The Pig Shed Motel offers 10 contemporary styled spacious at 25 square metre bedrooms at reasonable prices. Located in Newton by Castle Acre just on the A1065 Swaffham to Fakenham road, 4 miles north of the town of Swaffham. The Pig Shed Motel shares the access drive to the recently re-opened and refurbished George & Dragon pub. Perfectly located for Pig Shed Motel guests to enjoy a drink or leisurely meal and stroll the short distance back to your room.
Choose from 4 Double rooms with Super King (6-foot-wide) superior comfort bed, 3 Twin/Double rooms with 2 x 3-foot-wide beds or (ziplock) Super King. 2 Family rooms with a Super King bed (cannot be made into twin) and a child’s 2’6” single. One Disabled Friendly room with Super King which can be made into twin beds (2x3 foot wide) and a shower room. All have modern bathrooms and all rooms except disabled friendly have a shower over the bath tub.
All rooms have a Nespresso coffee machine, tea making facilities, small undercounter fridge, 40 inch flat-screen TV with Freeview, free Wi-Fi, hairdryer, iron & ironing board, linen, towels and toiletries. Rooms are soundproofed. No air conditioning. Windows can be opened. Housekeeping service. We are Eco-friendly with a rainwater recovery system providing water for flushing toilets. Our Solar power provides hot water and partial electricity to all the rooms and the underfloor heating is provided via an air-sourced heat pump. All tariffs are room-only basis. Breakfast not included. Please note there is no reception/front desk.
Self check-in with virtual key (Salto JustIN mobile app) on your smartphone - sent after 10am on morning of arrival. Alternatively, contact us to arrange a key card. 24hr CCTV outside rooms and around perimeter.
Maximum 2 Dogs - on request only. Pet charge £10 per dog per night (from 01/02/23). Not all rooms allow dogs.
No infant cots or additional bed(s) in any of the rooms.
