Au fil des ans, Fence Gate a été modernisé et agrandi avec soin, transformant cette magnifique propriété géorgienne du XVIIIe siècle en un bar public traditionnel et une brasserie de 102 places. Toutes les chambres sont magnifiquement aménagées et bénéficient d'équipements et d'un mobilier luxueux pour un séjour inoubliable.

Le Fence Gate propose une gamme de chambres et de suites comprenant des lits confortables, une machine à expresso, une douche à l'italienne attenante, des lavabos Villeroy & Bosch « His & Hers », des articles de toilette Basic Earth Botanicals comprenant shampoing, après-shampoing, gel bain et douche.

Histoire

Fence Gate is steeped in history and has a close relationship with Sir Jonas Moore who was ultimately responsible for the introduction of the Greenwich Mean Time, Pendle Witches who not only resided in the area and was alleged to have met in the area at Blacko Tower

Restauration et Boissons

Fence Gate offers a delightful bar and restaurant, a Full English/Irish breakfast is available each morning at Fence Gate Lodge for £15.00 per person. 

In 2016 Fence Gate was awarded the Guinness World Record for the ‘Most Gins Commercially Available’ that’s some 623 bottles and guests will see many of them displayed in Fence Gate today, now approximately 1000.

Fence Gate has a lovely terrace to enjoy. It is also close to Barrowford Park, this was first awarded a prestigious Green Flag in 2008, and has maintained its flag ever since. The park has a bowling green, a war memorial and two children's playgrounds, and some outdoor fitness equipment.
