Aperçu

Goldsmid House est situé au cœur de Londres, à proximité de la gare Victoria et à quelques pas de Green Park, du palais de Buckingham, de la cathédrale de Westminster, de St James Park, du palais St James, de Hyde Park et de bien d'autres sites touristiques célèbres. Goldsmid House propose un hébergement estival à un excellent rapport qualité-prix en chambres individuelles avec salle de bain, de fin juin à début septembre. Les chambres sont uniquement disponibles aux 1er, 2e et 3e étages.

Chaque étage dispose d'une grande cuisine partagée avec jusqu'à sept autres hôtes. Des équipements et ustensiles de cuisine limités sont disponibles : bouilloires, grille-pain et micro-ondes. La Goldsmid House est divisée en deux bâtiments autour d'un podium extérieur.

Il y a de nombreux bars, cafés, restaurants et supermarchés à proximité.

Veuillez noter : en raison des matériaux de construction de la maison Goldsmid, certaines chambres peuvent avoir une mauvaise réception de téléphone portable.

Restauration et Boissons

Goldsmid House offers the use of communal kitchens. Goldsmid residence has refrigerators, freezers, toasters, kettles and microwaves, as well as basic crockery, cutlery and utensils. Many restaurants are within walking distance.


Kitchens are cleaned frequently (at least once weekly). Guests are responsible for cleaning and tidying. Kitchens and communal rooms can be used 24 hours a day, please observe silence after 11 pm at night not to cause disturbance to other guests.

There is an external podium area between the two blocks of Goldsmid House. Green Park and St. James Park are within walking distance.

All bedrooms have WiFi.  There is no smoking inside any UCL building. Smoking is permitted in courtyards with consideration for other guests This has laundry facilities available. There is lift access to all rooms.

An ironing board is available in each kitchen and iron may be borrowed from reception. 

There are window restrictors on all windows for H&S reasons. There is no AC on site.

The location is excellent. The staff were very helpful, and helped me carry luggage when the elevator was briefly out of service. My room and all of the common areas were clean and tidy. Communication was prompt and clear about the elevator outage and the ongoing construction noise. The only issue was that my room was opposite the loading dock and out vent for the Sainsbury's across the street--a little louder than preferred at night. But I would 100% stay again, it was GREAT otherwise.

UCL Goldsmid House accommodation by Universityrooms is wonderful. You have all you need. The location is unbeatable just a short walk from Victoria train, coach and subway stations . You have a large kitchen,microvawe, toaster, fridge, all utensils, iron,ironing board, all. Rooms are clean and comfortable. All the staff are polite. It is a wonderful experience.

I was particularly impressed with the communication when there was no hot water, and when it was fixed. My room was directly opposite Sainsbury's Air conditioning outlet, so was quite noisy (as I had to keep the windows open because of the heat) but that was just unfortunate - so not a complaint.

Room was clean and nice and quite spacious. En suite shower was clean and modern and everything worked well. Summer heat and courtyard building demolition was a bit uncomfortable but out of anyone's control. Excellent location and excellent value for money in central London! Will be back.

Cleaning was not done the last week, and the building retains too much warmth, which means that it is impossible to sleep without having the window open, but the kitchen and room were overall really functional and clean

Nearest Underground Stations: Victoria (Circle, District, Victoria and Overground Lines) - 0.2 miles/0.4 kilometres.

From Victoria Station, turn right into Wilton Road.  When you reach Gillingham Street, turn right, and Goldsmid House is on the right hand side.There is no parking at Goldsmid House. Guests may store their luggage for a short while, subject to availability.
