This is the lowest of LTFA’s beats, extending from the base of Chudleigh Weir to the tidal waters at Teign Bridge. It offers productive early-season fishing for larger sea trout. Please note that fishing is not permitted on day tickets between Preston Footbridge and New Bridge (Clay Lane) due to riparian restrictions. As this beat is popular with dog walkers, fishing early in the morning or later in the day is often preferable.
