Prince's Gardens, Hyde Park, London

Excellent accommodation, superlative location, and without a doubt best value in central London. Rating of four rather than five stars for service only because you should make it clear in directions (otherwise excellent) that there is no step-free access from South Kensington tube station. This can be very important for guests with limited mobility or with heavier luggage. I fit into both categories, but knew the area well enough to take a taxi from Euston Station. Some others might not.

This one of the best University Rooms I have ever stayed in in London. I would just like to make one rather minor point. Although the room was serviced every day, I was not left with a spare toilet roll, even though I had actually left a note asking for one to be left. Extra soap tablets and shower gel and shampoo sachets were left every day, even though I was not short of these. I do think that you should leave spare toilet rolls as a matter of policy.

The whole booking and checking-in system worked very smoothly. The location could not be better for attending concerts nearby. The bedroom was perfectly adequate and what we had been expecting. Our only criticism was the bed which was really not comfortable. You could feel the springs every time you moved in bed.

Fantastic location. Clean snd well appointed and also very quiet. Only downside was the creaky/ noisy bed - the mattress was not as comfortable as we would have liked. We would stay again though perhaps for maybe only 2 or 3 nights.

Happy with the checking in and the room was good and clean. Only issue was the fire alarm sounding which was apparently from the neighbouring building? !! Would book again gladly!

Smooth check-in & checkout. Clean room. Fan available for cooling room. Comfortable for one but double bed only accessible from one side.
