Churchill College, Cambridge

I found the room quite comfortable! I loved the feeling of staying on campus. Being onsite where my conference was being held made my experience very convenient, indeed. I also enjoyed the lunch we were served each day onsite. I appreciate very much the vegan and vegetarian options that were naturally part of the menus. The staff at the desk were super friendly and helpful. I loved meeting Posh Kitty and Winston! What a great place. All within an easy walking distance of Cambridge. Thank you!

If I had gone to this College for university I would have thought I'd died and gone to heaven. As it is, a mere mortal, I have to pay the visitor's room rate. The room in Cowan Court was wonderful. (Oh, to be eighteen and super-bright.) The grounds are outstanding. How many gardeners create this heaven on earth? The porters are delightful. The buildings are fascinating. The archive is amazing - so much greater and more fascinating than just Churchill and Thatcher. Bliss.

Perfect stay. We took a hairdryer, which was needed, but there was a kettle, tea/coffee and biscuits and soaps/shower gel. Mattress was just right at firm but not hard. Main car park was at the top of campus but the short walk was pleasant. We did take up the porter’s lodge offer of unloading suitcase in the twenty minute spot upon arrival and departure though. Breakfast ample and all staff very friendly and super helpful. We will definitely stay again.

It was a wonderful experience. The reception staff were very kind and helpful, and the room service was excellent as well. I loved the room overall, including the plants outside the window. I did not rate the room five stars, because the chair by the desk was very uncomfortable for working several hours. You may also want to review the shower’s water pressure, as it was really high. Porters in Lodge at check in were amazing - really welcoming and helpful - one of them even offered me an umbrella because of the rain. Quick chat with the "scout" (have I been watching too much "Morse"?) on the stair in the morning - really friendly and helpful

Excellent experience. Kind and friendly staff. Lovely environment, great internet access, food options, beautiful grounds, clean and functional rooms. Bravo.
