Robert Menzies College is an Anglican 300 bed residential college affiliated with Macquarie University and situated on the Eastern edge of the University. It is literally across the road from the new Metro Train station, Bus Interchange and shopping centre. Direct transport links are available to the City (19Km) and the Sydney Olympic complex (12Km). Being a residential college with an emphasis on community, extensive facilities are available outside of your private bedroom.
Students will be in residence all year and the College policies need to be observed for the benefit of everyone. The College try to keep rules to a minimum but they are enforced at all times. For the comfort of others:
No smoking anywhere on campus
No alcohol is permitted on campus
No pets allowed in rooms
Ball games in the designated area to cease after 9pm
Noise in the dormitory common rooms to cease after 11pm - you are welcome to use the main common area in the administration building after 11pm.
Triggering a Fire false alarm incurs a Fire Brigade call out fee of $1,600
Check in: 14:00 (2:00pm) - 17:00 (5:00pm) (arrivals may be allowed outside this window if your travel plans can't be adjusted however this is subject to availability)
