The small fridge in the room came on intermittently during the night and was quite noisy - I would have turned it off if the socket had been accessible. En-suite bathroom is basic but adequate. Overall I think pretty good value with a full breakfast included.

For somebody used to small student rooms at UK unis, this was OK. Others might be surprised at the limited space and Spartan conditions. That said, location was central, Porters‘ Lodge staff were helpful, and breakfast in Hall was good.

Great to have somewhere to stay near to the college and sights of Oxford. Excellent breakfast amd reasonably priced parking nearby.

Room as expected. Inevitably somewhat bare and soulless. Bed small but comfortable. Room did need plastic cup for drinking

The Lodge is staffed 24 hours a day, however, guests arriving after 5.00 pm can access the College by ringing the doorbell. Worcester College does not have any luggage storing facilities, guests must take their luggage with them on departure.

The College is located within 5 minutes walking distance from the Gloucester Green Bus station and 10 minutes walking distance from Oxford train station.

By Car: The College is unable to offer parking on site. The City operates a very convenient Park and Ride scheme.

By Train: A direct service operates between Oxford and London Paddington (approximately every 30 minutes), and between Oxford and Birmingham New Street via Banbury and Coventry. Other services operate from the north via Birmingham New Street; from the South via Reading; and from the west via Didcot or Reading. A taxi should cost under £10 from Oxford station to the residence.

By Air: London Heathrow and Gatwick airports are linked to Oxford by The Airline coach service, which operates a direct frequent service twenty-four hours a day.
