Dun Cow Inn, Ferryhill

The Dun Cow Inn was transformed from the original pub and adjacent Grocery store in 1975. When transformed the original grocery store frontage was altered to complement the existing frontage of the original pub. Our country inn situated in the heart of Sedgefield boasts a fantastic range of guest beers as well as a selection of wines available by the glass. Our bar offers a warm and relaxed feel so you can enjoy socialising with friends and family.

In addition to our bar we have a fantastic restaurant which has a seasonal menu with the emphasis being on local fish and meat whilst we have a wide range of specials shown on the blackboards which change daily.

With a wonderful menu of locally sourced ingredients cooked to order by our amazing chefs you will find our restaurant the ideal place to relax and unwind.

We have six guest bedrooms which are tastefully and traditionally decorated to reflect the style and country charm of the establishment. The rooms are available for short stays or longer breaks and are equally attractive to the business client or those looking to get away for a relaxing break.
