Ersham Lodge has for a number of years built up a reputation for quality of service at an affordable and realistic price. The friendly and enthusiastic owners, Elaine & David Kemp have established Ersham Lodge as one of Canterbury's premier bed & breakfast guest houses, open all year round The original building was built in a Tudor style during the early part of the last century (circa 1920's) and it now has bags of charm and character which over the years has developed a unique elegance and ambience all of its own.
Room prices are from £45 [Single], £80 [Twin/ Double], Family £90 - £110 [3 persons - 5 persons] all prices inclusive of a complimenary full cooked English breakfast.
Our location is so perfect being just outside the City centre - without the night time noise of the city centre - yet leaving you with just a very short walk to all of Canterbury's attractions and eateries. We have one off road car parking space available for each bed-room on our car park at the front of the building.
Ersham Lodge has delightfully appointed public areas and bedrooms that have been carefully and tastefully re-modeled and decorated to remain in keeping with the age and style of the building. All of the bedrooms have a colour television, clock radio, are centrally heated, and are en-suite with their own bathroom and toilet. Hospitality tea/coffee trays are provided in all of our bedrooms. Wi-fi internet access is available free to all guests, and there is a small sitting room/reading room available to guests.
Check-in on day of arrival generally from 1.00pm, and check-out by 10.30 on day of departure.

By Car:
We are just 5 minutes from the junction of the A2050 with the A2 at Bridge
By Train:
from London Victoria arriving at Canterbury East Railway Station, a ten minute walk.
Alternatively, from London Charing Cross Station to Canterbury West Railway Station, a short walk under the Arch of Westgate Tower, the length of the main street running the length of the city centre St Peters Street and St Georges Street, across the roundabout into New Dover Road. We are only a few yards after the traffic lights on the right hand side as you walk away from the city. We are happy to e-mail a more detailed city centre map upon request.
