Esklet Guest House, Whitby

A warm and friendly welcome awaits you at our large spacious semi-detached residence built for a sea captain in the late Victorian period. The Esklet has a rating of FOUR STARS . It offers room only in comfortable accommodation on 3 floors consisting of 3 double rooms 3 twin/triple and 1 large family room all en suite and 1 single room with private bathroom. On the ground floor there is a large room en suite with a double bed and a single bed suitable for people with restricted mobility.
We are child friendly but we do not accept children under the age of 5.
The Esklet is situated in a quiet location close to the town centre. Within minutes you have access to the harbour, beach and countryside making it an ideal location to explore by foot, bike or by car. If it is just a drink you are after there are some lovely pubs with seating outside where you can relax and soak up the atmosphere.The Esklet is room only and offers the opportunity to start your day in a relaxing way. There are lots of eating places within a short distance where you can enjoy breakfast at your own pace. All the rooms have free WiFi internet access and are equipped with complimentary tea/coffee facilities, radio alarm clocks, hairdryers, fridge and TV. Extra heating is provided as well as full central heating.
The parking is on street with a permit provided by us free of charge please collect this on arrival at the Guest House.
The pay and display car park opposite is free overnight from 6 p.m. - 9 a.m. and there are no charges during the months of November December January and February.
Following government guidelines the rooms will be deep cleaned and sanitised and nobody will enter your room unless asked to. Communal surfaces will be sanitised on a regular basis. Hand gel is available in the hallway and social distancing maintained at all times.
